AACSB(The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) officially affirmed the commitment of College of Business to quality, promoting excellence and continuous improvement
AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) officially announced, College of Business, Feng Chia University have extended the accreditation in business on January 30, 2019. Also remarked as "Champions for Global Excellence in Business Education" on its website, Feng Chia is honored to be the first university in Central Taiwan to pass the re-accreditation.
With the global rise of education and alignment with the mission towards internalization, accreditation is considered to be one of the significant indicators to enhance international competitiveness . In order to improve the quality of teaching, Feng Chia University first applied its initial accreditation in 2006. On February 3, 2014, AACSB announced that Feng Chia university has earned the initial accreditation in business. AACSB Accreditation has been synonymous with the highest standards in business education and has been earned by only 5 percent of the world's schools offering business degrees at the bachelor level or higher.
Prof. Hsiang-Tsai Chiang, Dean of College of Business and Prof. Chen Sen-Song, Dean of the College of Finance, said that the process of the AACSB Continuous Improvement Review was very rigorous. The review team members include Prof. Ray Whittington, Chair of the Review Team, Prof. David Rayome and Prof. Ricardo Lim, whom all have served in prestigious universities in the United States and Asia , have years of visiting experience. During the visit, the performance of the school's business education in "Innovation, Impact and Engagement" was highly affirmed, and a report on the evaluation of the past five years without any improvement was proposed and expect that the college will provide better quality in business education in the future. The college will continue to engage more effort to enhance teaching and research quality, and strive to achieve the school's mission and vision.
